On July 20, 2013, Pete and I said "I do." It's hard to believe it's already been a year! We've had a pretty busy first year of marriage, so for our anniversary, we decided to just take a simple weekend away to enjoy being together just the two of us. So while you're reading this, we've been hanging out in a beach town all day, enjoying each other's company, and reflecting on that amazing day one year ago. This weekend also celebrates four years since we started dating, so we've got a lot to be excited about :)
I won't share too many mushy gushy details about our wedding today, mostly because you're welcome to see all the details and photos on our wedding page. I just wanted to announce that because it's our anniversary, I'm finally going to share some of our wedding crafts! I don't have step by step pictures of all of them, but I can at least describe how they were made and what products we used and share the finished products that made our wedding so beautiful! We got pretty crafty for the wedding, so I figured we should share! Hopefully some of our wedding crafts will inspire you if you're planning a wedding! Get ready for some Wedding Wednesdays coming up :)
One mushy gushy side note... I love my husband with all my heart and I'm so glad we found each other at the absolute wrong time four years ago and somehow still ended up together! If anything was "meant to be," it was us, and I'm super excited to spend the rest of my life with such a wonderful man!
Now it's time to find out what wedding cake tastes like after a year in the freezer...
Happy Anniversary Nicole! Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend together :) P.S. Our cake wasn't half bad! A little dry but still tasted pretty good :)
Heart touching letter! You are my inspiration. We are going to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary and looking for suitable event venues to host the party and came to this beautiful post. Hopefully will book our venue soon.
