Wedding Wednesday- Flower Girl Buckets

Wedding Wednesday | Meet the B's

And we're back! We missed Wedding Wednesday last week due to The Great Crate Challenge (which you should definitely check out if haven't seen it yet!). Last week, nine of my bloggy friends and I shared projects using the same crate purchased from Michaels. We each created our own unique idea and joined efforts to give you tons of inspiration! Check it out!

This week, Wedding Wednesday is back, I'm telling you about these adorable flower girl buckets! I had trouble finding flower girl baskets I liked, so my mom and I brainstormed, and she suggested galvanized pails. I still wasn't sure, but after looking at her ideas, I decided to go for it! I'm glad I listened to Mom (shhh... don't tell her I said that! Ha!), because these turned out so cute!

The flower girl buckets were super easy to make. You can find small galvanized pails at almost any craft store (ours are 4.5" across if you're looking for these!). We painted them using latex paint (we had a free sample that matched the bridesmaid dresses), but you could also use acrylic paint with no problem. We glued a grey ribbon around the top edge, and then we used a peel and stick embellishment that had faux pearls and rosettes on it. They make so many embellishments these days, the possibilities are endless! You can definitely find one that goes with your wedding theme!

Making the flower girl buckets is quick, easy, and affordable with tons of options for colors and themes. And don't my flower girls just look adorable with them?? :)
