A minimal Christmas printable
This year has been a year of style transition for me. I've been learning, slowly, how to find the perfect balance of traditional, minimal, and modern. As I start to decorate for Christmas this year, this transition is hitting me again. I'm replacing a lot of my holiday decor with more classic and timeless pieces, but that also means finding a way to bring in that tiny touch of modern that I love. Today, I'm sharing a simple, minimal piece of art I created for the dining room, and it's available for you to print for your own home!

In the dining room, I typically feel like I have a great mix of traditional and modern, but once I brought out the Christmas decor, at first it felt a little too rustic/farmhouse. And then it felt a little too vintage. I let it simmer for a few days while I brainstormed what this space needed in order to create balance. The easy solution here was art! Simply replacing the art in that picture frame could make a big impact!
I thought of a favorite Christmas song and printed it in a black and white pretty font to keep it minimal. Sometimes just keeping things minimal is all the "modern" a space needs.
I love changing out art for the seasons. Once I find a print that I love, I tuck it behind my everyday art so that it's always ready for the next season with a simple switch. So when Christmas is over, this print will go behind the usual vintage pear art which you can see in my dining room makeover.
