Laundry basket baby shower gift

Ever since I made this laundry themed baby shower gift for a friend last summer, it’s become my staple shower gift! Laundry supplies are a must have for all expecting parents, and a basket of goodies is so easy to customize to their personal taste and style. I’ve gifted several of these baskets now, but I wanted to share it again because this one that I made for one of my best friends recently is one of my favorites I’ve ever made!!! I love how all of the colors came together! The Aztec patterns and bright colors are so girly and fun! :)

How to make a laundry themed baby shower gift basket

I bought a plastic storage crate to hold everything in. I propped the laundry hamper that my friend registered for in the back. Then, I used a folded receiving blanket to line the basket. This hid the packs of diapers that I stacked inside the crate to help lift everything up higher. I filled the crate with laundry supplies (detergent, stain remover, hangers) and some cute Aztec print closet organizers for keeping all of the different clothing sizes separated. Then I did some shopping for cute baby girl clothes (my favorite part!) to fill that closet with! I found lots of bright summery colors and patterns. I ordered this cute Aztec legging and headband set from Onesies for Elliott on Etsy too.
I just love how this gift basket turned out!
